Employee Gatherings 2026
The KOVO Trade Union, in cooperation with Škoda Auto, is preparing the traditional company gatherings for employees. The meeting in Mladá Boleslav will include speeches by Jaroslav Povšík, Chairman of the KOVO Trade Union Company Council, Board Chairman Klaus Zellmer, Board Member for People & Culture Maren Gräf, and possibly other guests. The company gathering in Mladá Boleslav will be followed by gatherings in Kvasiny and Vrchlabí.

Boleslam: Words with an Edge
From 2 to 4 October, Mladá Boleslav will come alive with the international Boleslam festival, offering the best of slam poetry, poetry, music and improvisation. Over two days, more than 40 performers from Czechia and neighbouring countries will take to five stages. There will also be workshops and exhibitions by local artists. The event is supported by the Škoda Auto Endowment Fund. Come and enjoy a festival where words have energy, ideas and a proper rhythm.

Maker Faire Mladá Boleslav Is Approaching
Do you like technology, creativity and ideas that surprise you? Then don't miss the Maker Faire Mladá Boleslav, which the Škoda Auto Endowment Fund is bringing back to Pluhárna on 19 September. Get ready for a day full of science, technology, creativity and fun for the whole family – and plenty of chances to try everything out for yourself. Discover the world of modern technology, robotics, 3D printing, programming and laser projects, as well as hands-on workshops and interactive light, sound and kinetic installations. There will also be a fascinating science show featuring surprising experiments from chemistry, physics and biology. Admission is free after registration.

Škoda Auto Health Days Are Approaching
We often only start thinking about our health once something starts to go wrong. Yet many health problems can be spotted before they even show any signs. That's why Health Days are returning, giving you an easy and quick way to do something for your health without unnecessary delay. A varied programme of preventive check-ups and expert consultations awaits you. Because the best time to find out how healthy you are is before anything starts to trouble you. Health Days will offer measurements of blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and uric acid, cardiovascular prevention, and diagnostics of body composition and feet. You'll learn how to look after a healthy back, move and eat correctly, support good-quality sleep, or quit smoking. The programme will also include consultations with a physiotherapist and nutrition advisor, information on psychological support, and tips for safe working.

Four Seasons in a Year Concert Series Continues This Autumn
Four strings and one exceptional voice – that's the fifth concert of the "Rok na 4 doby" (A Year in 4 Seasons) music series, featuring the Bennewitz Quartet and Markéta Cukrová. This quartet is one of the most distinctive Czech chamber ensembles, performing on prestigious stages both at home and abroad. Together with mezzo-soprano Markéta Cukrová, they will offer an evening full of beautiful harmonies, powerful emotions and music spanning centuries. Come and enjoy an extraordinary musical experience from the "Rok na 4 doby" series, brought to our region by the Škoda Auto Endowment Fund.

Science Night at Škoda Auto Vysoká škola
Experience a unique evening full of knowledge, entertainment and inspiration at Škoda Auto Vysoká škola. This year, for the first time, it will be taking part in the Science Night event, which will run from 17:00 to 21:00 on 25 September. Come and discover the fascinating world of science, technology and innovation, and enjoy an evening full of interesting things to explore. Thanks to Škoda Auto and cooperation with the town of Mladá Boleslav, the unique mobile EDU.Lab laboratory will also be taking part in the programme. The event is open to everyone, regardless of age, and is completely free of charge. The programme will take place at the Škoda Auto Vysoká škola premises in the Na Karmeli Education Centre and in the laboratories of the Na Hejdovce Technical Education Centre.
A word of thanks
We would like to jointly thank everyone who took part in the unique, technically and time demanding rebuild of the chassis pre-assembly line in ML1 at the Kvasiny plant. Our thanks go to everyone involved, from colleagues in car production planning, through the staff at the Kvasiny plant, to the supporting departments. A big thank you also goes to the KOVO Trade Union for their cooperation and support during the whole rebuild. Thanks to the joint effort of everyone involved, we managed to successfully carry out the rebuild and achieve the required capacity in a short time, thereby ensuring the production of ordered cars for our customers. Once again, thank you all for your commitment, cooperation and the work you have done. This whole undertaking also confirms that when we all pull together, we can manage even very demanding tasks.
