The Greatest Joy? When People Really Enjoy It
The current roadshow is not just about the cars themselves. For everything to run smoothly, many people are needed, and Petr is one of them.

GKU – Corporate Communications
What do you do in GKU?
I organise internal events for both employees and management. Employee events build team spirit, reward people for their work, introduce them to new products, or simply give them a chance to get together in an informal setting.
What do you enjoy most about this kind of work?
Variety. It is not monotonous work that repeats itself every day. One moment you are working on a concept, then you are making phone calls, dealing with suppliers, visiting a location, coordinating colleagues or preparing content. You are often out in the field, and things keep changing.
What is your footprint on this roadshow?
I mainly dealt with the creative concept, content, project management, budget, tenders, technical matters, administration and communication materials.
Was there a surprising moment during the preparations?
Paradoxically, even though we are a carmaker, it is quite difficult to get exhibition cars for the roadshow. Shortly after they are unveiled, they tend to be used for dynamic presentations and other press tests across Europe. So if a problem arises with a car during the roadshow, it cannot simply be swapped for another one. This year, everything has been running smoothly so far.
Have you achieved anything specific?
I think we have nicely connected two seemingly different worlds of new electric cars with different views on the mobility of the future.
What do you find most rewarding?
When employees get the chance to see a new car shortly after its world premiere, it is a great achievement. They can view it, sit inside it, enjoy the accompanying programme and get close to a product that the whole company has helped create.
