  Electromobility on the Rise: Showcased at e-SALON
  

  The e-SALON clean mobility fair was held at the Prague Exhibition Grounds in Letňany in mid-November. The Škoda brand attracted a lot of attention by exhibiting both the Vision O electric estate concept and the L&K 130 student car, as well as the Elroq and Enyaq models. Visitors also learned about the Škoda Explore service, which lets them rent electric cars for up to 15 days at a favourable rate. In five months, the service has reached 1,136 reservations with an average distance travelled of 723 kilometres. “The Škoda Explore service is the ideal first step into the world of electromobility. It offers potential customers a unique opportunity to try out an electric car in everyday use and test its capabilities, such as range on a single charge, in settings and situations they are familiar with,” emphasised Jiří Maláček, Head of VT – Sales and Marketing CZ. The Czech electric car market is growing. From January to October this year, 11,444 cars were registered, corresponding to a market share of 5.56%. The Škoda brand had 4,291 registrations during this period, with the Elroq model attracting the most interest.

  Ideas from the Energy Scouts course

  The educational project in the field of climate protection and resource conservation, organised by the Czech-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the name Energy Scouts, has completed its third course. Two teams from Škoda Auto participated in it as well. Colleagues from the BA – General Procurement department worked on an idea for using plastic waste as a material for 3-D printing office equipment. A joint team of colleagues from the PK – Component Production department and ŠKO‑ENERGO worked on more efficient usage of cooling water. The proposed measures should save water, electricity and costs and reduce CO2 emissions by more than 40 tonnes per year.

  Entry into the Saudi Arabian market 

  Škoda vehicles are heading to customers in another Middle Eastern market. In cooperation with SAMACO Motors, the carmaker will open showrooms in the Saudi cities of Jeddah and Al-Khobar later this year, with plans to launch its main branch in Riyadh next year. In the largest market in the Middle East, customers will have access to the Octavia, Kodiaq, Karoq and Kushaq models with internal combustion engines. These will soon be joined by the Superb cars and later the Slavia compact sedan. Škoda Auto is significantly strengthening its position in the region. This year, it also entered the market in Oman, resumed operations in Qatar and opened two new sales outlets in the United Arab Emirates.

  Václav Klement Avenue is clear

  From Monday, 1 December, drivers will be able to drive through all the sections of Václav Klement Avenue. This year’s stage of reconstruction was completed, and the next phase will begin in March 2026. We will inform you about traffic restrictions in a timely manner. Please also note that until 19 December 2025, it will only be possible to continue from the Laurin & Klement Campus to the right and left due to a temporary closure on Jan Palach Street.

  In November, Škoda Auto produced its 100,000th Elroq, which it began manufacturing in Mladá Boleslav in January. In October, it was the most sought-after electric car in Europe. 
  

  Meeting at the annual conference of the KOVO Trade Union

  Škoda Auto can rely on its long-standing and solid cooperation with its social partner, the KOVO Trade Union. This was confirmed at the organisation’s annual conference in November, which was attended by all the members of the carmaker‘s Board, including CEO Klaus Zellmer. He emphasised the importance of both the partnership with the KOVO Trade Union at a time of major challenges for the automotive industry and the cooperation with Chairman Jaroslav Povšík.

  Škoda Vietnam celebrates anniversary of republic

  The establishment of the independent Czechoslovak state was also commemorated on 28 October by the Czech representation of the Škoda brand in Hanoi, Vietnam. Together with the Embassy of the Czech Republic, they organised a reception for several hundred guests. Among those in attendance were representatives of the Czech community in Vietnam and partners of the embassy and Škoda Auto, including representatives of the Thanh Cong Group, with which the carmaker cooperates on the local assembly of the Kushaq and Slavia cars. These models were on display at the event as well.

  The Škoda Auto Endowment Fund (NFŠA) celebrates the seventh anniversary of its founding on 5 December.

  Česana has a new modern restaurant

  Since the beginning of November, Technical Development employees have been able to enjoy the new C510 restaurant, which was created in cooperation with the KOVO Trade Union as part of the modernisation of company catering at Škoda Auto. The employees may choose from a wide range of dishes in a modern environment, use self-service checkouts or an expanded hot buffet with a premium “fresh line” zone offering freshly prepared dishes. The canteen introduces a new breakfast concept as well. The grand opening on 31 October was attended by Maren Gräf, Board Member for People and Culture, Johannes Neft, Board Member for Technical Development and Jitka Žáková from the KOVO Trade Union.

  Dear Readers, 

  A year full of anniversary celebrations is coming to an end, as is the 31st year of Škoda Mobil, the final issue of which you are now holding in your hands or reading in electronic form. We are delighted that this year we have once again been able to bring you stories about the people, products and technologies that make the Škoda brand one of the most successful brands around. The carmaker’s rich history has laid the foundations for this as well. This year, we looked back on a number of milestones – 130 years since the company’s founding, 30 years since the first issue of the Škoda Mobil employee newspaper, the opening of the Škoda Museum, the launch of ŠKO-ENERGO and 25 years since Škoda Auto University was established.

  We would like to thank you for your unwavering loyalty as readers and for all the suggestions and ideas you have sent us. You help shape the content of the newspaper!

  The year 2026 will bring numerous opportunities, which is why we at the editorial office are planning new features to make your reading experience even more enjoyable. You can look forward to new sections, graphic improvements and other surprises. However, one thing definitely will not change: Škoda Mobil will continue to be a source of essential information and behind-the-scenes insights, bringing you closer to the work of your colleagues, our vehicles and their production.

• Vision O in action for the first time

  Škoda Auto prepared an attractive event for journalists in Valencia, Spain. The coastal city, with its rich history and modern futuristic architecture, provided a fitting backdrop for presenting the Škoda Vision O and the limited anniversary-edition Fabia 130. Around 100 journalists from 14 countries did not miss the chance to be among the first behind the wheel of Škoda’s concept car.

  Journalists in Valencia had the opportunity to take a first drive in Škoda’s future electric estate concept. They also tested the limited-edition Fabia 130.

  At the end of the year, Škoda Auto organised an event for journalists in Valencia, Spain. This coastal city with a rich history is also known for its modern, futuristic architecture with bright colours, smooth surfaces and elegant curves. The Škoda Vision O electric estate concept and the limited-edition Fabia 130 share these same features. This car also has a connection to Valencia through motorsport, making it a fitting location for the presentation and test drives.

  Journalists were able to test drive the Vision O concept on a short track in the port of Valencia, giving them a true feel for the future of the Škoda brand. 

  Around 100 journalists from 14 European countries travelled to Valencia at the end of November and beginning of December. They could take their first ride in the Vision O concept, which the carmaker had unveiled in September. The test drives took place in the port near the distinctive Veles e Vents building.

  Participants had six Fabia 130 cars at their disposal.

  Participants were able to thoroughly test the sporty Fabia 130 model (read more about it in the November 2025 issue of Škoda Mobil) in Valencia and the surrounding area. They also visited sections of the former circuit near the port, where Formula 1 World Championship races were held between 2008 and 2012. This provided ideal conditions for testing the fastest production Fabia built to date, with its power increased to 130 kW.

  The cars were presented to journalists not only by colleagues from the GKP – Product Communication department but also by designers from the ED – Škoda Design department. Experts from the EP – Development Powertrain and Chassis Systems and VA – Aftersales departments focused particularly on the limited-edition Fabia 130 model, launched to mark the 130th anniversary of the carmaker’s founding.

  How the Škoda Brand Became a Powerhouse

  1905–2025 As it celebrates its 130th anniversary, the Czech car manufacturer has produced more than 28 million vehicles since 1905. What factors have influenced this increase in production over the years?

  Car production in Mladá Boleslav began in 1905, but the L&K brand also produced motorcycles and tricycles until 1911. The carmaker reached the milestone of 1 million vehicles produced in the 1970s. The company has been tracking its production milestones more accurately since its merger with the VW Group in 1991. Even so, we can trace its production successes and failures, influenced, for example, by the economic crisis, world wars and production set by the central economic policy of the communist regime. It is striking that the company only began to genuinely prosper after its merger with the VW Group. During this period, it has produced more than five times as many cars as in the previous 96 years. This is demonstrated by the Production Milestones graph, in which we used the figures given in the Škoda Auto Chronicle as the source for the number of cars produced up to 1991. For milestones from 1991 to 2025, we used an internal production overview, which lists the number of Škoda cars produced worldwide.

  The total number of Škoda cars produced increased fivefold after the merger with the VW Group.

  Laurin & Klement started in 1895 as a workshop for repairing and assembling bicycles. It was a small business and the workshop was very modest, equipped with only a few basic machines.

  1905 

  L&K presented its first Voiturette A car, with a total of two models produced that year. Production was predominantly handcrafted, and the number of units produced therefore ranged in the hundreds at most. During these years, the company also built several production halls, which currently house the Škoda Museum.

  L&K reached the milestone of 1,000 cars produced just two years after starting car production.

  1910 

  The company established itself as a car manufacturer as its motorcycle production gradually declined. It already offered several models of passenger and commercial vehicles, making it one of the leading manufacturers of vehicles in Austria-Hungary. The plant in Mladá Boleslav was expanded with new halls, paint shops and mechanical workshops, and L&K became one of the largest factories in Bohemia.

  1925–1929

  The merger with Škoda Works strengthened L&K’s position. The strong new strategic partner launched a generous investment programme: the transfer of cutting-edge technologies, including the introduction of assembly line production and an expanded model lineup. As a result, the company was already approaching the threshold of 1,000 cars produced annually by 1926.

  The 1930s 

  The modernisation of the plant was linked to the introduction of the landmark Popular, Rapid, Superb and Favorit models, thus moving away from traditional “craft” production. New assembly halls with conveyor lines, a press shop with modern presses for car body production and a body shop designed for the efficient production of steel frame structures were built.

  1939–1945

  Production was limited to trucks, military specials, and engines and components for military use. In 1945, the Mladá Boleslav plant was damaged by bombing.

  1945–1949

  After the war, the halls and electrical networks were rapidly restored and the press shop and welding shop were modernised. The Škoda 1101 Tudor model was responsible for the resumption of production. The plant was also nationalised and renamed AZNP. In addition, the plants in Kvasiny and Vrchlabí were incorporated into its structure. All this was done to start production according to a centrally controlled planned economy, which after 1948 was determined by five-year plans. 

  1960–1964

  A section of the main production plant was built next to the older factory halls intended for the production of the Škoda 1000 MB. The new car (monocoque body, rear engine) required completely different production technologies and lines, so a modern, world‑class production section was built. Modern technologies for mass production were introduced at the plant, including aluminium die casting, modern press shops, assembly lines and automated workstations.

  The 1980s

  Significant changes in production took place in connection with the preparation of a Western-style car, the Favorit model. To produce it, the car manufacturer had to completely overhaul its production facilities in Mladá Boleslav and Kvasiny. New pressing and welding shops were built, in which presses and robots from the West were installed. A modern body shop was built, and the assembly lines were modernised, introducing belt production with conveyors and inspection stations. A new paint shop with cataphoretic corrosion protection contributed to improving the surface of the car body.

  The carmaker surpassed the milestone of 5 million cars produced since 1905 shortly after merging with the VW Group.

  1991–1997

  In 1991, Škoda Auto became part of the VW Group and gained access to modern technologies and platforms. This also increased the pressure on production quality. The modernisation of production lines and pressing equipment continued in Mladá Boleslav. In 1994, the carmaker unveiled the Felicia, which was the first model developed after the merger with the VW Group. This model was key to modernising the plants, expanding development capacities, and strengthening the brand’s competitiveness. The carmaker also began construction of a hall for production of the future first‑generation Octavia model. In fact, 1997 was an exceptionally successful year, with the carmaker producing 35.8% more cars than in the previous year.

  2000–2009

  The car manufacturer introduced the principles of lean production and adapted existing production lines to new models. The body shop and press shop in Mladá Boleslav underwent complete modernisation and robotisation. In 2006, production of the MQ250 and MQ200 gearboxes began, and two years later, Škoda Auto launched production of models based on VW Group platforms.

  In 2014, the carmaker produced 1 million cars in a single calendar year for the first time.

  2010–2015

  This period brought significant digitalisation and robotisation of production. These steps led the carmaker to increase its annual production to more than 1 million vehicles. New assembly and welding sections were built, and in 2013, the carmaker implemented the MQB platform in its models. In 2015, it exceeded the milestone of 1 million cars produced worldwide in a single year for the first time.

  2016–2020

  During this period, the carmaker prepared for electromobility, and Industry 4.0 principles were introduced into production processes. As part of the preparations, the logistics infrastructure was expanded. Production of the first pure electric car, the Škoda Enyaq iV, started in 2020. This was preceded by a transformation of the assembly lines, enabling them to produce cars on both the MQB and MEB platforms simultaneously, which was unique within the VW Group.

  2025

  Škoda Auto is currently one of the few European car manufacturers capable of producing cars with both combustion and electric engines on the same production line. Doing this allows it to respond to demand, minimise risks and increase line utilisation. The carmaker is also investing heavily in technological infrastructure and is on track to become the battery centre of the VW Group for Europe.

  Ludvík Kalma

  (1991–1996)

  An engineer and manager who played a major role in the successful integration of the Mladá Boleslav car manufacturer into the VW Group. Unfortunately, he died tragically in an accident in November 1996 that was not his fault.

  Vratislav Kulhánek

  (1997–2004)

  He replaced Ludvík Kalma as Chairman of the Board of Directors and in October 2004 became Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the car manufacturer. From 1997 to 2007, he served as President of the Automotive Industry Association. 

  Detlef Wittig

  (2004–2007)

  He came to Mladá Boleslav in July 1995. Under his leadership, cooperation between Škoda Auto and the city of Mladá Boleslav developed significantly, as evidenced by the establishment of the Karmel Education Centre.

  Reinhard Jung

  (2007–2010)

  When he took over, the Czech carmaker was the most profitable division of the VW Group. During his tenure, the company experienced not only record growth but also a later decline in demand as a result of the economic crisis. 

  Winfried Vahland

  (2010-2015)

  His period in office saw the Škoda brand undergo its largest growth and model offensive. In 2014, Škoda’s production exceeded 1 million vehicles per year.

  Bernhard Maier

  (2015–2020)

  He oversaw the launch of the Kodiaq, Karoq and Kamiq SUV models and strengthened the company’s focus on electromobility, digitalisation and connectivity. 

  Thomas Schäfer

  (2020–2022)

  A strong advocate for the Škoda brand, he worked to secure a VW Group investment in the Czech Republic for the construction of a battery gigafactory. He left the company at a time when decisions were being made about whether Škoda Auto would transform into an EV manufacturer.

  Klaus Zellmer

  Under his leadership, the Czech brand has delivered strong results. In 2024, the company achieved a record turnover of EUR 27.8 billion, its operating profit increased by 30%, and its return on sales reached approximately 8%.

• A change at the Vrchlabí plant

  Ivan Slimák, who has been at the helm of the Vrchlabí plant for 14 years, is retiring. He was behind the successful transformation of this plant from car production to the production of DQ200 automatic gearboxes, and in an interview he reflects on his career at Škoda Auto, which he joined in 1992. He is being replaced as plant manager in Vrchlabí by Lars Bürger, a manager with many years of experience in component manufacturing.

  We’ve Brought the Vrchlabí Plant to the Top

  Ivan Slimák is behind the successful transformation of the Vrchlabí plant from car production to producing DQ200 automatic transmissions. As he prepares to retire, he looks back over his career at Škoda Auto, which he joined in 1992.

  You have spent 14 years managing the Vrchlabí plant. What do you value most about this engagement?

  Above all, how the entire plant team managed the transformation from car production to producing modern automatic transmissions. Everyone in production, logistics and quality control learned new technologies and methods. Dozens of experts emerged from their ranks, and they are now at the top of their field. That is what I’m most proud of. For example, we have an excellent team of electronics engineers who can perform optimisation tasks. This puts us at the forefront, allowing us to continuously increase our production volume and introduce innovations.

  We started with 5,000 transmissions per week. Today, our plant in Vrchlabí produces three times as many. Almost two-thirds of them are supplied to other VW Group brands.

  Could you highlight some of these technologies?

  For example, the digital twin has enabled us to prepare robot programmes even before the robots were delivered (more about the technology in the August 2020 edition of Škoda Mobil – ed.). This has saved time and space on the assembly line. Another interesting technology is our collaborative robots working together with people. They have already installed more than 12 million pistons in transmission mechatronics.

  Let us go back to our plant’s transformation. What was the greatest challenge?

  Producing transmission parts is highly specialised work. With our dual-clutch transmission, there were two key requirements: cleanliness and precision. Automatic shifting is handled by highly sensitive mechatronics, and a high degree of cleanliness must be maintained during its production. The transmission also consists of gears and shafts with hundreds of different parameters with micrometre tolerances. A human hair is about 50 micrometres thick, and in some areas, we work with a tolerance of two micrometres. I have to emphasise automatic inspection as well. At the end of our production line, we have checkpoints where we simulate driving with every transmission and test all the gears, cornering and so on. The whole process takes place without human intervention.

  Is the DQ200 direct-shift automatic transmission, which is manufactured in Vrchlabí, something special?

  It enables sporty driving on the one hand and economical driving on the other. This was the main goal the VW Group had in developing it. Thanks to a greater number of gears, it can use the engine at optimal speeds. Demand for it continues to grow, which is why the Vrchlabí plant is increasing its production and will be running at full capacity for the next few years.

  The Vrchlabí plant was the first plant at Škoda Auto to achieve carbon neutrality. How did you do it?

  We needed to increase our plant’s capacity, so we had to optimise everything. And the best approach was to focus on energy savings. We implemented projects targeting large energy consumers, such as the hardening shop and machine tools, but in other areas as well. We have systems that monitor our consumption in relation to changes in ambient temperature, production volume and other variables. It was a multi-year effort and, of course, it involved cooperation with ŠKO-ENERGO on purchasing green energy. We are seeing positive results and continue moving forward.

  What experience did you bring to Vrchlabí from your previous positions, including those in Germany and China?

  I got to know a number of new technologies and experts around the world, which helped me to build our plant in Vrchlabí. I knew whom to turn to and where to find what know-how within the VW Group. When there was a problem, our colleagues from the Group came to help us. In China, in particular, I had the opportunity to see two plants being built from scratch. There, one learned how to do everything – selecting employees and suppliers, building a factory, installing machines and even dealing with customers. In Vrchlabí, it was different. Here, we received a lot of help from our colleagues in Mladá Boleslav. Surprisingly, it was much easier to find qualified engineers in China.

  Is it difficult to attract specialists to Vrchlabí?

  I was very concerned about that. It is difficult to find electronics engineers, for example. However, we’re mostly successful, as Škoda Auto has a very good reputation here. And for some positions, we decided to train our specialists ourselves. It takes longer, but it pays off.

  What are your plans after retirement?

  I would like to devote more time to my wife, family and children. We have dogs, so I want to spend time in nature, play sports and read books. Just the usual things.

  Have you grown fond of the Krkonoše Mountains thanks to Vrchlabí?

  I grew up in the Tatra Mountains, so I’ve had a relationship with nature since my childhood, and my wife, children and I go there from time to time. Quite often, I would go skiing even in the evening after work with a headlamp. I especially like the area around Zlaté návrší (Golden Hill) and towards the source of the Elbe River.

  And one final question. Do you prefer automatic or manual transmission in your car?

  I used to think that manual transmission was the best, but I now prefer an automatic transmission. It reduces fuel consumption and allows the driver to enjoy the ride more. However, I don’t want to try to convince anyone, as every person has their own preferences.

  Lars Bürger headed to Vrchlabí

  On 1 December, Lars Bürger became the new Head of the Vrchlabí plant, specifically the PKD – Transmissions DQ department. A manager with many years of experience in component manufacturing, he previously worked at BMW, Mahle and Bosch, joining Škoda Auto in 2011, where he has held numerous positions. In recent years, he led the PKM – Engine EA 211 department.

• GreenWeek 2025

  The week-long programme of the fifth GreenWeek event, held under the motto ‘Circularity as a path to sustainability’, emphasised the importance of the circular economy as a key approach to the efficient use of resources and reducing environmental burden. It also showed that the circular economy, which drives innovation, is not just about companies, as it inspired employees to apply these principles in their own lives.

  Inspiration Around Circularity and Sustainability  

  The fifth annual GreenWeek event, organised by the PSU – Environmental and Work Protection team led by Hana Cejnarová, took place from 10 to 14 November. This year’s motto, Circularity as a Path to Sustainability, emphasised the importance of the circular economy as a key approach to effective use of resources and reducing environmental impact.

  More than that number of Škoda employees attended the event at LKK, and almost half of them “pedalled” for a smoothie on the Fruit Bike.

  Why circularity?

  Unlike the traditional linear “make–use–dispose” model, the circular economy is based on re-using materials, extending product life and minimising waste. This concept is becoming a practical strategy for both businesses and individuals. GreenWeek has thus become a platform for sharing innovation in sustainable development, involving experts from Škoda Auto, the VW Group, academia and non-profit organisations.

  GreenWeek was divided into five thematic blocks and offered a wide range of lectures, interviews, workshops and video features. It also included documentary films, special menus in all the company restaurants and practical tips on how to apply the circular economy principles in everyday life.

  Programme for the week

  Opening day was kicked off by Klaus Zellmer, CEO, who highlighted 130 years of innovation and development at Škoda Auto. Soňa Klepek Jonášová, founder and director of the Institute of Circular Economy, discussed the opportunities and challenges of the circular economy. There were also discussions on biophilic design, blue-green infrastructure and sustainable materials. 

  On Tuesday, experts from the Technical Development department introduced the topic of circular design based on the Vision O concept car and the European ZEvRA project. External guests presented on recycling magnets from electric car motors and Li-on batteries on an industrial scale, and representatives of the GreenRetail pillar provided up-to-date information on a more sustainable sales and service network. 

  The third day, dedicated to circular production, showed how production waste can be used as raw materials for closed-loop recycling projects. This highlighted the innovative use of 3-D printing and a project focused on recycling its waste. Our colleagues from VW Slovakia shared their circular-practice measures for aluminium and thinners. 

  On Thursday, GreenWeek moved to the Laurin & Klement Campus, where visitors were welcomed by the Enyaq ShowCar and GreenRetail model exhibition. The main topic was sorting as a gateway to recycling. A whole range of activities was prepared there: a re-use station, candle making, composting, quizzes, book and clothing swaps and 3-D printing technology demonstrations. Curiosity Fuel coffee and smoothies prepared by Fruit Bike supplied energy throughout the day.

  The last day focused on biodiversity and a healthy landscape. The lectures covered nature conservation, the Living Soil project and biodiversity monitoring. The conclusion was a look back at the projects of the Krakonošovy zahrádky grant call.

  In recent years, the idea of a circular economy has become increasingly important. We demonstrate the application of its principles and the integration of other sustainable materials in the Škoda Vision O concept. In line with the circular economy principles, recycled and recyclable materials play an important role inside the car, adding visual appeal and reducing its environmental footprint. GreenWeek is a great platform to highlight this approach at Škoda Auto – both in terms of what we do as a brand and what each person can do individually.

• Hidden treasures come to life

  On 1 December, the Škoda Museum opened a new exhibition called Sleeping Beauty, which reveals rare cars from the brand’s history. A total of 23 gems, mostly in as-found condition or partially renovated, are presented in a so-called ‘garage’ style. For the new exhibition, the Škoda Museum used the original, older part of the V4 building, placing the selected items on its renovated ground floor.

  Hidden Treasures Come to Life

  The Škoda Museum has opened a new exhibition called Sleeping Beautiesy in the former V4 building, which showcases rare cars from the brand’s history.

  As part of the celebrations marking 130 years since the company was founded, the Škoda Museum is opening a new, unique exhibition. It is a depository located in the historic factory hall of the carmaker, housing 23 automotive gems from the history of the brand. On 1 December, the museum opened it to the public in a new exhibition in the V4 building, located near a complex of historic Škoda Auto buildings, which also houses the main exhibition of the Škoda Museum. While visitors can access the main exhibition at any time during opening hours, visits to the new depository must be booked in advance. Half-hour guided tours are available free of charge until the end of the year, after which there will be a surcharge of CZK 100 on top of any ticket to the Škoda Museum.

  Unique specimens and a concept car

  The new exhibition features 23 exceptional cars, most of which are in as-found condition or have undergone partial restoration. “The cars are on display as they were found after many years in various forgotten corners or barns and were acquired for the museum’s collections,” says Michal Velebný, Coordinator of GKM/3 – Restoration Workshop, about the concept of a garage-style exhibition. Some of the specimens may end up in his workshop, but for now, they are on display in an exhibition that evokes a garage atmosphere.

  The carmaker emphasises the historical value of the cars on display. Visitors will find a brief description of every specimen, with more detailed information available after scanning a QR code. Similar to the museum’s main exhibition, the new depository will feature a certain rotation of the cars on display as well. “Opening the depository is part of a greater plan by the Škoda Museum to further open itself to the public and fans of automotive history,” says Andrea Frydlová, Head of GKM – Škoda Museum, about the new addition. This is precisely what the PPB – Construction and Infrastructure Planning department was involved in when preparing the exhibition. “Our department was responsible for the building alterations, which took place from June to October this year. During the required work, we preserved as much of the original structures as possible, and we carefully restored them. Interestingly, there is another space above the exhibition, which we stabilised and prepared for future use. Works are currently underway on the second stage, namely the high V4 hall. Another exhibition will be located there, which is expected to open in February 2026,” says Tomáš Blažek, Coordinator of PPB/3 – Buildings Planning Zone A.

  In 2026, the Škoda Museum plans to open a hall where visitors will be able to admire prototypes, design studies and concepts from the 1950s to the present. This will significantly expand its publicly accessible exhibition, which currently features 60 exhibits in an area of approximately 1,800 m².

  History window

  The new Škoda Museum exhibition, featuring vehicles (and other items) in as-found condition, is located in the old factory, specifically in the V4 building. This is part of a complex that the founders of the carmaker, Václav Laurin and Václav Klement, gradually built at the beginning of the 20th century. The local brick buildings marked the move of the Laurin & Klement brand to what was then a modern and stable environment. The construction of the building, which we currently refer to as V4, took place in 1906, and production began there in 1907. The founders of the carmaker had a forge built here, so they installed furnaces, presses, anvils and a large drop hammer, which the employees used to carry out the basic production steps. The drop hammer enabled the mass production of large metal parts for cars. The work in the plant was very demanding, with workers doing most of their work manually.

  The V4 building also housed a paint shop and an engine brake, where engine performance was measured and checked before the engines were installed in the chassis. The V4 building took on its current form between 1911 and 1913, when the original courtyard was roofed over. The V4 building was used for car production until around the mid-1960s. 

  The new Škoda Museum exhibition is located on the ground floor of the original older part of the V4 building.

  Stories of the cars on display in the new depository

  Most of the 23 exhibits are in the condition in which they were found, as the cars were discovered decades later in various forgotten corners or barns and acquired for the museum's collections. "More than twenty historic cars date back to the very roots of automobile production in Mladá Boleslav, and their original condition exudes an authentic charm and patina for visitors," says Andrea Frydlová, head of GKM – Škoda Museum.

  Model Slavia se dočkal uvedení na vietnamský trh v polovině září.

  Podobně jako v Evropě i zde značka Škoda zdůrazňuje praktičnost vozů a jejich výhody pro aktivní životní styl.

  Uvedení modelu Slavia doplnila i propagační jízda napříč Vietnamem, kterou se Škoda Auto připojila k oslavám výročí republiky.

  Důležitým prvkem výbavy vozu pro vietnamské zákazníky je kvalitní konektivita.

  Slavia je na trhu k dispozici ve čtyřech barvách – šedá Carbon, bílá Candy, červená Tornado a modrá Lava.

  Studie VISION 7S představuje sedmimístné elektrické SUV s řadou neotřelých řešení.

  V říjnu vyrazil částečně funkční model vozu nejprve do Anglie, k vidění byl v Londýně u Tower Bridge a následně si ho na vlastní kůži vyzkoušeli novináři v Peterborough.

  Následovala také novinářská prezentace studie ve španělském přímořském letovisku Marbella.

  Kola mají průměr 22" a aerodynamické ráfky jsou téměř zcela uzavřené.

  Studie vozu VISION 7S zaujme jak celkovým vzhledem, tak řadou netradičních detailů.

  Interiéru dominuje velká otočná obrazovka s úhlopříčkou 14,6".

  Při ukázce vozu řada novinářů oceňovala jednoduché mechanické ovládání některých základních funkcí.

  Spíše designérskou libůstkou studie je oválný volant. Že by v běžných řadových vozech nahradil klasické kulaté totiž není příliš pravděpodobné.

  Co by to bylo za vůz ŠKODA bez Simply Clever prvků? V případě vozu VISION 7S jde například o magnetické úchyty na mobilní telefon.

  Studie vozu zdůrazňuje přístup ŠKODA AUTO k udržitelnosti. Podlaha a zavazadlový prostor jsou tak celé vyrobeny z materiálu z recyklovaných pneumatik.

• Motorsport / rally – fotogalerie

  Nikolay Gryazin v Japonsku vybojoval druhé místo v kategoriích WRC2 a WRC2 Challenger.

  Trať na úzkých lesních asfaltových cestách v prefekturách Gifu a Aiči neponechávala moc prostoru pro chyby.

  Dobře si zde vedli i místní jezdci. Takuma Kamada a Yuichi Matsumoto vyhráli klasifikaci WRC2 Masters Cup pro jezdce nad 50 let.

  Hiroki Arai a spolujezdec Hiroki Tachikui dovezli svůj vůz Fabia na pátém místě v kategorii WRC2.

  Na Rally v Saúdské Arábii obsadily posádky s vozy Škoda celé stupně vítězů v kategorii WRC2.

  Pouštní rychlostní zkoušky nejlépe sedly Gus Greensmithovi, který se dostal do čele ve druhé etapě a vedení už nepustil.

  Nikolay Gryazin měl v úvodu defekt, pak se ale dokázal probojovat na druhé místo a zajistit si celkové vítězství v kategorii WRC2 Challenger.

  Kameny na poušti působily problémy také estonské posádce Robert Virves a Jakko Viilo, která musela měnit dvě pneumatiky. Nakonec se přesto radovala ze třetího místa.

  Upřímně děkuji všem škodovákům, našim prodejcům a obchodním partnerům po celém světě za jejich vytrvalé úsilí. Jsou to oni, kdo umožnili dosáhnout takového výsledku za náročných podmínek a v rychle se měnícím tržním prostředí.

  Pravidla soutěže ve Škoda Mobilu

  1. Pořadatel Soutěže

  Společnost Škoda Auto a.s., se sídlem tř. Václava Klementa 869, Mladá Boleslav II, 293 01 Mladá Boleslav, IČO: 00177041, zapsaná v obchodním rejstříku vedeném Městským soudem v Praze pod sp. zn. B 332 (dále jen „Pořadatel“), pořádá tuto čtenářskou soutěž (dále jen „Soutěž“), jejíž postup a podmínky upravují tato pravidla (dále jen „Pravidla“).

  2. Doba trvání soutěže

  Soutěž probíhá v době od 7. 5. do 30. 5. 2025 (dále jen „Doba soutěže“).

  3. Soutěžící

  Soutěže se může účastnit každý čtenář zaměstnaneckých novin Škoda Mobil, který v Době soutěže vyplní kvíz a své odpovědi zašle na e-mailovou adresu skoda.mobil@skoda-auto.cz (dále jen „Soutěžící“). Soutěžící se zavazuje uvádět v soutěžní registraci pouze pravdivé údaje.

  Soutěžící mladší 18 let se mohou Soutěže zúčastnit pouze se souhlasem svého zákonného zástupce, který je povinen se na žádost Pořadateli prokázat.

  Ze Soutěže jsou vyloučeni zaměstnanci útvaru GKU jako organizátora soutěže a osoby těmto osobám blízké podle § 22 zákona č. 89/2012 Sb., občanský zákoník, ve znění pozdějších předpisů.

  4. Princip Soutěže

  Úkolem soutěžícího zaslat správné znění Kvízu, Určete pořadí a Najděte 5 rozdílů, které Pořadatel zveřejní v tištěné verzi zaměstnaneckých novin Škoda Mobil (vydání 5/2025), nebo v online verzi novin téhož vydání na webové adrese www.skodamobil.cz. Zodpovězením otázek se rozumí odeslání správných odpovědí na Kvíz, Určete pořadí a Najděte 5 rozdílů na e-mailovou adresu skoda.mobil@skoda-auto.cz. Každý soutěžící může odeslat své odpovědi za Dobu soutěže jen jednou. Ze správných odpovědí budou vylosováni 3 výherci (dále jen „Výherce“).

  5. Výhra v Soutěži

  Výhrou je následující cena:

  3x balíčky reklamních předmětů Škoda.
  

  6. Kontaktování Výherce a podmínky čerpání výhry

  Pořadatel bude Výherce informovat o výhře zejména telefonicky/písemně na kontaktní telefonní číslo / e-mailovou adresu, které Soutěžící uvedl v e-mailu se svými odpověďmi, a to nejpozději do 14 dnů od ukončení Soutěže. S Výhercem se Pořadatel následně dohodne na způsobu předání Výhry. Standardní způsob předání výhry je osobní předání. Podmínkou předání výhry je podpis předávacího protokolu nebo potvrzení o převzetí ze strany Výherce.

  Výhru není možné alternativně vyplatit v hotovosti ani v jiném plnění. Výhra není soudně vymahatelná. Poskytovatelem výhry je Pořadatel. Pořadatel nenese žádnou odpovědnost za jakákoliv rizika a závazky související s užíváním výhry. Pořadatel si rovněž vyhrazuje právo výměny výhry za výhru, která je odpovídající náhradou.

  V případě, že Výherce výhru nepřevezme osobně ve sjednaném termínu, ztrácí na výhru nárok a výhra propadne, aniž by Výherci vznikl nárok na jakoukoliv kompenzaci ze strany Pořadatele.

  7. Pravidla ochrany osobních údajů (v souladu s GDPR 2016/679)

  Vyplněním kvízu a vyluštěním osmisměrky a zasláním odpovědí na výše uvedenou e-mailovou adresu Soutěžící vědomě a dobrovolně souhlasí s Pravidly soutěže (viz tento dokument), což znamená:

  – zařazení do soutěže a příslušné evidence Soutěžících;

  – zasílání informačních e-mailů týkajících se této Soutěže;

  – případné zveřejnění jeho osobních údajů v rozsahu jméno a příjmení na výherní listině.

  Osobní údaje budou uchovávány pouze pro potřebu Soutěže a nebudou využívány k marketingovým účelům.

  Osobní údaje se zpracovávají po dobu od jejich poskytnutí v rámci Soutěže až do vyhlášení výsledků Soutěže, maximálně však na 1 rok od jejich poskytnutí. Osobní údaje jsou od Soutěžícího získávány na základě pravdivě vyplněného registračního e‑mailu (e-mail se správnými odpověďmi zaslaný na skoda.mobil@skoda-auto.cz). Osobní údaje Soutěžícího budou zpracovány ve výše uvedeném rozsahu v elektronické databázi správce osobních údajů, popř. zpracovatelem, se kterým správce osobních údajů (Pořadatel) uzavře příslušnou smlouvu.

  Požádá-li Soutěžící o informaci o zpracování svých osobních údajů, je mu správce a případně i zpracovatel povinen tuto informaci bez zbytečného odkladu předat. Každý Soutěžící, který zjistí nebo se domnívá, že správce provádí zpracování jeho osobních údajů, které je v rozporu s ochranou soukromého a osobního života Soutěžícího nebo v rozporu se zákonem, může požádat správce o vysvětlení nebo požadovat, aby správce odstranil takto vzniklý stav. Soutěžící má právo (omezení zpracování, oprava osobních údajů, doplnění nebo likvidace osobních údajů, podání stížnosti) se obracet na správce na: DPoffice@skoda-auto.cz.

  8. Ostatní ustanovení

  Pořadatel neodpovídá za přímé či nepřímé škody v souvislosti s účastí v Soutěži. Nebezpečí škody na výhře přechází na Výherce okamžikem předání výhry Výherci. Pořadatel není odpovědný za jakékoli technické problémy vzniklé při přenosu dat elektronickými prostředky.

  Pořadatel si vyhrazuje právo bez udání důvodu vyloučit Soutěžícího, jehož chování či jednání vykazuje známky nekalého či podvodného jednání. Osoby nesplňující podmínky účasti v Soutěži nebo jednající v rozporu s Pravidly Soutěže nebudou do Soutěže zařazeny. I pokud taková osoba splní některé podmínky pro získání výhry, např. v důsledku nepravdivých informací, které poskytla, nestává se Výhercem a nemá nárok na výhru. Výhra bude v takovém případě předána dalšímu Soutěžícímu v pořadí. Soutěžící bude vyloučen v případě, že Pořadatel zjistí nebo bude mít oprávněné podezření na spáchání podvodného nebo nekalého jednání ze strany některého ze Soutěžících či jiné osoby, která dopomohla danému Soutěžícímu k získání Výhry.

  Pořadatel si vyhrazuje právo i bez uvedení důvodů Dobu soutěže zkrátit, Soutěž přerušit nebo zrušit či změnit její Pravidla, a to i bez udělení výhry a bez poskytnutí náhrad. Pořadatel si rovněž vyhrazuje právo nahradit ohlášenou výhru předmětem podobného typu a odpovídající hodnoty a upravit podmínky předání výhry v případě, že výhra nebude poskytnuta způsobem umožňujícím předání výhry vítězům v souladu s těmito Pravidly.

  Pořadatel má právo konečného rozhodnutí ve všech záležitostech Soutěže včetně rozhodnutí o neudělení výhry v Soutěži a také si vyhrazuje právo konečného posouzení splnění či nesplnění podmínek stanovených pro získání výhry v Soutěži. Výhru nezískají ti Soutěžící, kteří nesplní byť jen okrajově či částečně stanovené podmínky pro získání výhry. Pořadatel tímto nepřebírá vůči Soutěžícím žádné jiné závazky, a tito nemají nárok na jakákoliv jiná plnění ze strany Pořadatele než uvedená v těchto Pravidlech.

  V případě, že dojde ke změnám podmínek a Pravidel Soutěže, bude toto učiněno písemně ve formě aktualizace těchto Pravidel. Aktuální verze těchto Pravidel je v plném znění dostupná na www.skodamobil.cz. Soutěžící nemá právo na náhradu nákladů spojených s účastí v Soutěži, a to ani v případě změny těchto Pravidel.

  Tato Pravidla jsou platná a účinná ode dne 7. 5. 2025.

  The Škoda Museum has opened a new exhibition entitled Sleeping Beauties.

  Its concept corresponds to the so-called garage style, as most of the cars are in their original condition prior to renovation.

  The exhibition presents 23 cars from the Škoda Museum's depository.

  Although some of the cars are in better condition, all of them will eventually be renovated, and the exhibition will thus change over time.

  The cars on display cover the period from 1913 to 1939.

  The grand opening took place on 25 November, attended by Andreas Dick, Board Member for Production and Logistics, as well as apprentices and instructors from vocational school, who had the opportunity to try their hand at minting commemorative coins in the apprentice forge...

  ... which is still located in the V4 building.

  The Head of Production and Logistics was one of those who advocated for the new exhibition. Thanks to the company's long history, many of the exhibits on display today were previously manufactured in the V4 hall.

• Akce / roadshow-Vision-O – fotogalerie

  Zaměstnanci mladoboleslavské výroby mohli navštívit Vision O Roadshow v Lean Centru.

  Nechyběly zde ani soutěže o ceny či možnost odnést si jako suvenýr fotografii.

  Hlavní hvězdou byl ale koncept Vision O, který si mohli zaměstnanci prohlédnout ze všech stran a nahlédli také do interiéru. Nasednout však nemohli.

  Účastníci soutěží si z roadshow odnesli tisíce drobných odměn.

  Tradičně velký zájem byl o expozici v Kvasinách.

  Koncept Vision O zavítal i do Česany, kde se představil po boku historického kombi Octavia.

• GreenFuture / GreenWeek-2025 – fotogalerie

  This year's GreenWeek was all about circularity and sustainability.

  Andreas Dick, Board Member for Production and Logistics, attended the event at LKK.

  A whole range of activities took place at LKK, such as a book and clothing swap.

  Thanks to the donated books and clothing, employees contributed CZK 10,400 to the Škoda Auto Endowment fund via the Znesnáze platform.

  The topic of sorting as a gateway to recycling was complemented by demonstrations of proper composting...

  ... because bio-waste concerns all of us.

  In addition to the book and clothing swap, the event at LKK offered the creation of items from sorted waste.

  And anyone who wanted to could make their own smoothie.

  Díky roadshow si mohli zaměstnanci výroby řadu digitálních nástrojů doslova „osahat“.

  Akci si nenechal ujít člen představenstva za oblast Výroby a logistiky Andreas Dick. 

  Cílem bylo, aby zaměstnanci jednotlivé technologie více poznali, mohli si je vyzkoušet a pochopili jejich základní principy.

  Jednou z prezentovaných technologií byl i 3D tisk…

  At the eSALON sustainable mobility show in Prague, visitors could see the Škoda Vision O electric estate car concept.

  The carmaker also showed several other models at its stand.

  For example, the top-of-the-range Elroq RS electric car in matte paint attracted a lot of attention.

  Vocational school students presented their L&K 130 student car, which is based on the Superb plug‑in hybrid model.

• Elektromobilita – fotogalerie

  Vůz Škoda Elroq mě nadchl svou tichostí a dynamikou. Během dvou dnů jsem s ním najel přes 400 km a vyzkoušel ho na různých trasách. Nabíjení se ukázalo jako velmi snadné, i když si zatím neumím představit, jak by fungovalo třeba na sídlišti bez dostupných nabíjecích stanic. Celkově jsem z vozu nadšený a jako druhé auto do rodiny představuje skvělou volbu.

  Dopravníkové systémy MEB z útvaru PPF-L/6

  Víkend jsme strávili na cestách po hokejových zápasech dětí, takže auto bylo v plném herním zápřahu. Elroq nabídl dostatek prostoru pro celou rodinu i výbavu a jízda byla klidná a komfortní. Celkově šlo o skvělou zkušenost, která nám víkend opravdu zpříjemnila.

  Funkční zkoušky motorů EA211/EA111 z útvaru EPO/21

  Nad zapůjčením elektrovozu Elroq Selection 60 125kW na víkend jsem se dlouho nerozmýšlel. Vůz najel přes 550 km bez jediného problému a byl jsem nadšený, jak komfortně a spolehlivě jel.

  Řízené vyhledávání závad – KD-Baseline  z útvaru VAT-1/1

  Vůz jsme cíleně zkoušeli v běžném rodinném provozu – cesty do práce, do školky a rodinné výlety po okolí. Ve všech scénářích Elroq obstál – nejvíce se mi líbila dynamika, obratnost ve městě a dostatek prostoru navzdory kompaktním rozměrům.

  Projekty digitalizace – integrované plánování z útvaru GSP-4

  Vydali jsme se na testovací jízdu z Mladé Boleslavi do Ostravy a zpět a ujeli přibližně 700 km. Elroq nás mile překvapil komfortem, tichým chodem a hezkým interiérem. Spojení moderní elektromobility s objevováním českých industriálních a historických památek jsme si opravdu užili.

  Moje první zkušenost s elektromobilem byla skvělá! Auto jsem měla zapůjčené v týdnu a jezdila v něm do práce a zpět. Navíc jsem si se synem udělala výlet do Prahy, takže jsme celkem najeli přibližně 300 km. Nadchlo mě, jak pohodlně a snadno se Elroq řídí, opravdu jsem si to užila.

  Během zápůjčky vozu jsem byl velmi spokojen s jeho výkonem, tichostí a pohodlím. Elroq mě překvapil skvělými jízdními vlastnostmi, především manévrovatelností, díky které se dokázal otočit téměř na místě. Oceňuji také čistý design interiéru a ambientní osvětlení, které bylo velmi příjemné na oči při noční jízdě.

  Byla to má první zkušenost s elektrovozem a překvapila mě v tom nejlepším slova smyslu. Řízení bylo lehké, ovládání intuitivní a celkový dojem? Prostě skvělý. Víkend jsme využili naplno a Elroq se osvědčil nejen na městských trasách, ale i při delších cestách.

  Do projektu Ambasadoři elektromobility jsem se přihlásil, abych otestoval kapacitu a efektivitu 59kWh baterie. Chtěl jsem zjistit reálnou spotřebu a dojezd na své každodenní cestě do práce. Vůz splnil všechny moje požadavky na 100 %. Během celkových 480 najetých km jsme také navštívili Český ráj, kde byla pořízena fotografie.

  Elektronika vozu – osvětlení vozu, Q-FuReV z útvaru GQD-3/2

  Projel jsem trasu Turnov–Liberec–Děčín a zpět. Dojezd odpovídal očekávání hlavně díky rekuperaci energie při jízdě z kopce. Výkon vozu je slušný, jede svižně a okamžitě reaguje na plyn, což zvyšuje komfort jízdy. Vůz hodnotím jako velmi komfortní a elegantní nejenom pro dojíždění do práce, ale i pro delší vyjížďky.

  Vyrazili jsme na výlet do polských Krkonoš a za víkend najeli přibližně 400 km. Byla to má první zkušenost s řízením elektromobilu a byl jsem velice mile překvapen. Jízda byla plynulá a komfortní, užili jsme si to. Škoda jen, že zapůjčení bylo na tak krátkou dobu.

  Zápůjčku vozu Elroq jsem si opravdu užila – auto je tiché, komfortní a překvapivě prostorné. Líbila se mi jeho svižnost i jednoduché ovládání. Navíc mě velmi oslovil moderní design vozu. Byla to pro mě skvělá zkušenost a určitě bych si ho ráda vyzkoušela znovu.

• Vzdělávání / welcome-week – fotogalerie

  Zástupci Škoda Auto, Odborů KOVO a Škoda Academy slavnostně přivítali žáky prvních ročníků SOUs ve Škoda Muzeu.

  Poté následoval jejich seznamovací týden (Welcome week) v prostředí tábora Nedamov.

  Adaptační program byl plný nejen společných her a akcí, žáci zde tradičně navrhovali své imaginární firmy a vozy.

  The Vision concept was presented to European journalists at the modern Veles e Vents building in the port of Valencia.

  Unlike previous static exhibitions, media representatives were now able to look directly inside the car.

  They took a close look at features such as the uniquely designed headrests made from a single material.

  The concept's interior focuses on cleanliness, simplicity, and clarity, while also being very elegant.

  Journalists had the opportunity to take a short ride in the car.

  Cars from the limited Fabia 130 anniversary series were also prepared for them.

  They tested the hatchback with increased engine power more thoroughly. They took it for a spin around the neighbourhood...

  ...and even drove along sections of the former Formula One circuit in the harbour.

  The limited edition also features glossy black details and emblems that refer to the legendary Škoda 130 RS model.

  The interior is also designed in a sporty spirit.

  Representatives from the communications, technical development, design, and after-sales services departments provided journalists with details about both cars.

  There was also room for informal discussion.

• Motorsport / Miko-Marczyk – fotogalerie

  Třicetiletý Miko Marczyk se po několika vítězstvích v polském šampionátu letos stal i mistrem Evropy v rally.

  O titulu rozhodl až v poslední soutěži, v říjnové Chorvatské rally.

  Mistrem Evropy se stal po boku spolujezdce Szymona Gospodarczyka.

  Polská posádka sice letos na žádném z podniků ERC nezvítězila, na pěti z osmi soutěží však stanula na stupních vítězů – například třetí místo vybojovala na velšské Rali Ceredigion.

• Vzdělávání / expertni-koncept – fotogalerie

  Dubnový interaktivní workshop pro experty uvedl Peter Podprocký, vedoucí útvaru SE – Škoda Academy.

  Interaktivním workshopem pro experty z oblasti Výroby a logistiky provázel Lukáš Altman Kousal, který má na starosti metodiku procesu lisování a automatizace v útvaru PFO-P – Lisovna MBO.

  Součástí interaktivních workshopů byla i AI stanoviště.

  Setkání komunity expertů se věnovalo elektromobilitě…

  … zúčastnilo se ho 130 expertů, kterým byly představeny modely Elroq a Enyaq.

  Letos se experti podívali i do terénu, když zavítali na polygon Úhelnice.

  V listopadu měl premiéru Expert Breakfest s tématem Argumentace a vyjednávání.

  Jeho součástí byla i interaktivní část s názvem Round Table.

  Letošní poslední velké setkání proběhlo na konci listopadu pod názvem Expert Meert & Market.

  Věnovalo se inovacím a moderním technologiím a hostem byl proto Petr Mára, technologický evangelista.

  Součástí setkání bylo i Marketplace, zde například stánek logistiky s Davidem Vostrým, který má v útvaru PLL – Plánování logistiky na starosti projekty logistiky náběhů.

• Motorsport / Italie – fotogalerie

  Giandomenico Basso se k italskému mistrovskému titulu propracoval díky vyrovnaným výkonům v celé sezoně. Na sicilské rally Targa Florio dojel druhý.

  Na Rally di Roma Capitale, jež je zároveň součástí mistrovství Evropy, jasně dominovali jezdci ve vozech Škoda a G. Basso si připsal vítězství.

  Stejně tak zvítězil na Rally Due Valli poblíž Verony a jezera Garda.

• Oslavy / 130-let – fotogalerie

  Protančený únor

  V únoru se ve Škoda Muzeu v Mladé Boleslavi konala mimořádná společenská událost – Ples Odborů KOVO MB a Škoda Auto, který přilákal mnoho nadšených hostů. Ti si užili nezapomenutelný večer plný zábavy, hudby a tance. Vrcholem tomboly byla výhra vozu Škoda Elroq Selection 85.

  Dobová roznáška

  Začátkem května ozvláštnil tým Komunikace oslavy prostřednictvím netradiční roznášky Škoda Mobilu. Vybraní zaměstnanci se převlékli do dobových kostýmů, rozjeli se do závodů v Mladé Boleslavi, Kvasinách i Vrchlabí a na nejfrekventovanějších místech za dobového hudebního podkresu jako historičtí kameloti rozdávali aktuální vydání Škoda Mobilu se speciální přílohou 130 let v pohybu.

  Festival jako vrchol oslav

  V květnu se tisíce škodováků potkaly v srdci Škoda Auto na Hudebním festivalu v Mladé Boleslavi. Na odstavné ploše D7 mezi Laurin & Klement Kampusem a halou M13 vystoupili hned čtyři interpreti – Calin, Ewa Farna, Kabát a zaměstnanecká kapela Wotazník.

  Ve vzduchu i na zemi

  Mladoboleslavské letiště ožilo v červnu Rodinným dnem s podtitulem To to letí!. Na pódiu se vystřídali Čiperkové, Karol a Kvído, Sofian Medjmedj, Berenika Kohoutová a Pokáč. Návštěvníci mohli využít testovacích jízd vozů, vyhlídkových letů, a to i z balonu, nebo nasednout do helikoptéry.

  Tři závody, jeden tým

  Odbory KOVO spolu se Škoda Auto připravily tři květnová podniková shromáždění zaměstnanců v Mladé Boleslavi, Kvasinách a Vrchlabí. Předseda představenstva Klaus Zellmer, členka představenstva za oblast Lidé a kultura Maren Gräf a předseda Odborů KOVO Jaroslav Povšík se v projevech zaměřili na témata, která formují budoucnost Škoda Auto.

  Oslava tradice i budoucnosti

  Celé Rudolfinum se 1. září obléklo do slavnostních barev Škoda Auto a budovu obklopila výstava historických vozů značek L&K a Škoda. To vše předcházelo slavnostnímu galakoncertu, který byl vyvrcholením dlouholetého partnerství mezi Škoda Auto a Českou filharmonií. Celý večer byl nejen oslavou 130 let Škoda Auto, ale i poděkováním zaměstnancům, partnerům a podporovatelům, kteří se podílejí na úspěchu značky Škoda.

  Tradice a udržitelnost

  V listopadu proběhla ve Škoda Muzeu exkluzivní módní přehlídka, připravená ve spolupráci s Odbory KOVO. Představila více než 60 originálních i udržitelných modelů od předních českých návrhářů i talentovaných studentů z Technické univerzity v Liberci a UMPRUM.

  Cesta časem a zákusek navrch

  Tým Interní komunikace připravil ve spolupráci s oddělením SP – HR Plánování & Governance a poskytovatelem závodního stravování, společností GTH, sladké překvapení pro všechny zaměstnance. Od 42. do 50. kalendářního týdne byly k dostání v kioscích, kavárnách a restauracích ve všech výrobních závodech zákusky zdobené speciálními čokoládovými penízky s motivy jubilea. Zároveň se všichni mohli vyfotit v AI fotobudce, která je přenesla do minulosti.

  The team led by Aneta Lantorová and Zuzana Žemličková from the BA – General Procurement department focused on using plastic waste.

  Marta Holcrová from the PKD – Transmission GQ department, David Radůšek from the PKT – Technical Service department, and Jana Hluchá and David Blecha from ŠKO-ENERGO focused on more efficient cooling water management at the plant.

  The grand opening of the new C510 restaurant in Česana took place on Friday, 31 October.

  The event was attended by Maren Gräf, Board Member for People & Culture, Johannes Neft, Board Member for Technical Development, and Jitka Žáková from the KOVO Trade Union.

  The new dining hall offers a modern environment and a wide selection of dishes that fully meet current trends and employee needs.

  A major new feature is the expanded hot buffet with a premium "fresh line" zone, where employees can enjoy additional freshly prepared dishes.

  The C510 restaurant continues the long tradition of high-quality company catering at Škoda Auto and at the same time represents a modern dining standard combining variety, freshness, and comfort.

• Xxxx – fotogalerie

  Zaměstnanci mladoboleslavské výroby mohli navštívit Vision O Roadshow v Lean Centru.

  Nechyběly zde ani soutěže o ceny či možnost odnést si jako suvenýr fotografii.

  Hlavní hvězdou byl ale koncept Vision O, který si mohli zaměstnanci prohlédnout ze všech stran a nahlédli také do interiéru. Nasednout však nemohli.

  Účastníci soutěží si z roadshow odnesli tisíce drobných odměn.

  Tradičně velký zájem byl o expozici v Kvasinách.

  Koncept Vision O zavítal i do Česany, kde se představil po boku historického kombi Octavia.

• Jak to chodí / komin-ŠKO-ENERGO – fotogalerie

  K nasvícení posloužila scénická svítidla s celkovým příkonem zhruba 35 kW v běžném chodu a téměř dvojnásobkem při krátkodobém provozu. Pro srovnání: zmíněný běžný světelný příkon odpovídá Matrix-LED světlometům přibližně 300 vozů Elroq.

  Světlomety a další techniku bylo nutné instalovat na komín ve dvou výškách – ve 136 metrech a ve 172 metrech.

  O montáž se postarala pětice horolezců. Veškerou techniku na komín vyváželi pomocí stavebního vrátku, který posloužil jako lanovka. Celkově šlo zhruba o tunu materiálu. Horolezci se přitom bezpečně vypořádali i s nepříjemnými nárazy větru, které dosahovaly až 68 km/h.

  Po instalaci techniky následovaly noční zkoušky zahrnující kontrolu napájecích okruhů, synchronizaci řídicí techniky a test světelných scén. Ve dvě hodiny ráno bylo osvětlení krátce zapnuto a zkontrolováno ze všech stran.

  Pak už bylo vše připraveno k tomu, aby se na Den vzniku samostatného československého státu 28. října dominanta mladoboleslavského závodu rozzářila firemní zelenou barvou. Za tmy takto 

  zářil až do 20. listopadu.
