Customers and AI take centre stage
One of the year’s biggest internal events, the MMK management conference, was held for the first time at the spacious Křižík Pavilions on the Prague Exhibition Grounds under the slogan “Take Charge – Shaping the Next 130 Years”. The event aimed to strengthen corporate culture, gather direct customer feedback, expand knowledge of artificial intelligence and develop modern management methods.

Slavia reaches the Vietnamese market
Three years after Škoda Auto and Vietnam’s Thanh Cong Group formed a strategic partnership, the Czech brand is winning over local customers. This year, it began offering not only European models but also locally produced cars developed in India. Following the Kushaq SUV’s launch in June, the Slavia saloon arrived in September, setting a new benchmark in its segment.

Against the wind
In the next part of our series marking 130 years of car manufacturing, we look at the development of aerodynamic cars. Long before World War II, the company was already introducing models such as the Škoda 935 Dynamic and Škoda Rapid 1500 OHV. Today, smooth airflow helps reduce fuel consumption and noise, so aerodynamics is carefully considered in every detail of all models.

Škoda Classic Tour through employees’ eyes
Despite rainy weather, a record 237 historic cars lined up for this year’s vintage and youngtimer rally. Four participants shared their impressions, and highlights included a stop at the FabLab, where a robot served drinks, and a drive across the new L&K Bridge. An interview with one organiser explains why driving through the factory is an essential part of the route.

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective. Supplements can be a part of the newspaper, in the same format as the newspaper, inserted, for example, in the form of a flyer, or they can be stand-alone unique magazines in a specific format, such as supplements dedicated to new models, the brand's historical anniversaries, or other important information from the company's environment.
