CONNECTIVITY AND INFOTAINMENT

ŠKODA Connect offers a wide range of new

The dashboard

and A/C control

have been slightly

modified.

The new display screens respond to a light touch.

Apart from the standard Swing system, all versions

on request have a glass design. Columbus, the

top navigation infotainment system, comes with a

display of 9.2”, a Wi-Fi hotspot and an LTE module

for high-speed data transfer.

ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS

You can choose from a wide range of assistants. Trailer Assist, Predictive Pedestrian Protection, Blind Spot

Detect and Rear Traffic Alert are newly on offer. The same applies to Crew Protect Assist, which cooperates

with the Front Assist system, equipped with City Emergency Braking. Parking Assistant presents itself at

a new development stage. A brand-new feature is Trailer Assist: With a revolving switch for interior rearview mirror control, the driver can set the angle for reversing with a trailer. Then it is only about opening

the throttle gently, and the system automatically turns the steering wheel into the appropriate position. By

contrast, Manoeuvre Assist can help when reversing without a trailer. Manoeuvre Assist automatically brakes

the vehicle as soon as it has recognised an obstacle behind the car.
