ŠKODA AUTO in New Zealand
The first car ever constructed in New Zealand was probably under the ŠKODA brand. Based on the OCTAVIA model, the all-terrain TREKKA was created in 1966 thanks to the carmaker in Mladá Boleslav in cooperation with the importer. Today, New Zealand customers perceive ŠKODA cars to be reliable and spacious and to have a good price/performance ratio. In addition, they will be quite visible there in the coming years, as the Czech brand will gradually deliver more than 2,800 SUPERB cars to the local police (you can read about the order in the January 2021 issue of ŠKODA Mobil).
