CHANGE OF CONDITIONS FOR
THE ACCOMMODATION BENEFIT
AS OF 1 MARCH 2020, THE CURRENT BASE PRICE FOR ACCOMMODATION WILL
INCREASE BY 20 %.
The last increase of prices took place in 2013, and since then the costs of accommodation grew
considerably. As of the aforementioned date, the accommodation costs of all employees
utilizing this benefit will be adjusted automatically.
The maximum duration of the provided accommodation benefit will be 5 years. Employees who
have been using this benefit for three years or
more will be asked to find their own accommodation within a period of 2 years (so-called transition period).
The purpose of these measures is to motivate
employees who have been accommodated for
long periods to find a solution for their own housing situation and help stabilize their living situation in the regions of the factories. As a supportive measure, during last year’s collective
negotiations there has been an agreement to
increase the maximum loan amount for accommodation from CZK 400 000 to CZK 550 000.
The new price list is available on ŠKODA Space.
