ŠkodaGPT 2.0 Enhances Search
The generative AI platform ŠkodaGPT 2.0 takes the platform to the next level. Developers from the FIT – Enterprise Architecture & Technology department, in collaboration with the STO – Process and Organisational Management department, have introduced a new feature called Smart Search, which enables semantic search within internal data sources. The first of these is process and organisational documentation (POD).
The new feature was created in response to employee requests. It significantly simplifies and speeds up their access to information from key documents: group guidelines, organisational standards and methodological instructions.
Just ask
In ŠkodaGPT 2.0, you simply ask a question in natural language. For example: “Can I take photos at the plant?” The system automatically searches the currently applicable documentation and returns a relevant answer, including direct links to the source documents. The accuracy of the result can therefore be easily verified.
The implementation of Smart Search involved not only development but also testing, in which the SP – HR Planning & Governance department participated alongside the FIT department. User feedback is essential to the further development of the feature. Feedback can be provided directly within the ŠkodaGPT 2.0 platform. Each response can be rated by clicking the thumbs-up or thumbs-down icon and, if desired, supplemented with a comment.
