Biking to Mladá Boleslav
Per-Inge Björn is a devoted Swedish customer of the ŠKODA brand and, therefore, also ordered the ENYAQ iV electric SUV. While he was waiting for his new car, he decided to visit the place where it is produced while on a summer cycling trip through Europe. He took a ferry to Gdańsk in Poland and, from there, after nine days, he reached Mladá Boleslav, where he toured the ŠKODA Museum, among others. “It was a great experience. And now, I’m looking forward to my new ENYAQ iV even more, which will build on my previous YETI and KODIAQ cars”, says Björn. His journey later took him to Zagreb and Ljubljana.

The brand’s domestic representation has prepared an interactive comics-style game on its ŠKODA Czech Republic Facebook profile. Whoever reaches the finish line will be entered into a prize draw, which includes a month-long ENYAQ iV car rental. The comics will also be published in printed format and distributed to ŠKODA showrooms. The carmaker is trying to reach young drivers with this campaign.

in sea transport
The VW Group continues to switch to using liquefied natural gas (LNG) ships when transporting cars by sea. Since 2020, it has used two vessels with this type of drive, and by the end of 2023, it will replace the other four less environmentally friendly diesel ships. Thanks to alternative fuel, it is possible to reduce CO2 emissions for each of the ships by up to 25 percent. The VW Group will use the new LNG fleet on the sea route between Emden, Germany, and Veracruz, Mexico.
