Green Week Aims for Sustainable Development
Employees will be introduced to sustainability issues and all the Green Future strategy pillars
ecarbonisation, energetics, compliance with regulations, biodiversity, water, waste and a circular economy – these are the topics of the so-called goTOzero weeks, to which the VW Group invites its worldwide employees from July to November. The aim of these activities is to share experiences and be inspired across departments via seminars, interviews with experts and panel discussions. At ŠKODA AUTO, this week is called the GreenWeek, and over the course of five working days, the topics of sustainability and all the Green Future strategy pillars will be introduced and complemented by employee interaction through the Slido platform. Owing to restrictions related to COVID-19, these interactions will be live online broadcasts, and all the materials will be stored on ŠKODA Space for later viewing. The week-long marathon of presentations on current environmental topics will culminate on Saturday, 18 September, with the Clean Up the Czech Republic volunteer event. ED
