WORLD WATER DAY & ŠKODA
THE CZECH CARMAKER CONTRIBUTES WITH SUSTAINABLE WATER MANAGEMENT.
ŠKODA AUTO aims to become a sustainable company and
uses the latest technology for economical and efficient
management of natural resources. Thanks to this, the
carmaker has been able to significantly reduce its water
consumption since 2010. More than 45% of annual water
consumption is recycled. For even more efficient handling of
this extremely valuable natural resource, we implement
numerous "GreenFuture" measures and projects. On the
occasion of World Water Day, we presented some projects
at ŠKODA Storyboard.
ŠKODA is taking the next steps
towards optimising electric mobility
for everyday driving. As part of its
ŠKODA iV ecosystem, the Czech
car manufacturer now offers chargers
for home or business charging.
The POWERPASS enables ŠKODA iV
vehicles to be conveniently charged
on the go. The ŠKODA iV Chargers
are available in three versions and
meet all individual customer
requirements, from everyday drivers
to fleet operators. ŠKODA’s extensive
service package includes
comprehensive advice, on-site
installation and future servicing of
the Box. The POWERPASS offers
access to up to 195,000 charging
stations throughout Europe with
convenient monthly billing.
RISK & COMPLIANCE:
TRAIN THE TRAINER
The Code of Conduct is a set of rules of
conduct binding for all employees at
ŠKODA AUTO. It establishes
fundamental principles, the foundation
of our corporate culture and an integral
part of our everyday work. A tool for
introducing this topic and acquainting
employees with the issue is the Code of
Conduct Training, which is mandatory for
all ŠKODA AUTO employees. In order to
provide this training for blue collar
employees (VD/RD), the so called Code
of Conduct Trainers must be trained first.
Respective superiors shall nominate the
Code of Conduct Trainers selecting

ŠKODA AUTO launched its SUV campaign in 2016 with the KODIAQ, laying the
foundations for an impressive success story. The Czech brand’s first large SUV
garnered more than 40 international awards with its emotive design, exceptional
spaciousness and outstanding value for money. The sporty RS variant even set
a lap record for seven-seater SUVs on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife.
In under five years, ŠKODA AUTO has produced 600,000 KODIAQs
worldwide. As part of a comprehensive SUV campaign, more SUV models
followed, and these now account for almost 40 per cent of ŠKODA’s total sales.
