FOR ŠKODA AUTO EMPLOYEES
If you have any questions regarding
the current situation, write us at
email@example.com and we will answer your
questions in cooperation with Board
Members and other responsible persons on the
Internal Communication Vimeo channel. Send your
questions to the address above and include
"Extraordinary Situation" in the Subject line.
Current operational information during the shutdown
can be also found in a videosummary on our Vimeo
channel and in the main news at ŠKODA Space.
In consultation with our social partner KOVO, we
have decided to extend the production stop
at our three Czech plants in Mladá Boleslav,
Kvasiny and Vrchlabí until 27 April 2020, 6:00.
This is in response to the continuing low demand
for vehicles, the existing challenges in the supply
chain and the ongoing restrictions on public life
in the Czech Republic (state of emergency
extended until 30 April 2020) and abroad due to
the coronavirus pandemic.
All employees will continue to receive 75%
of their average wage until 27 April 2020, 6:00.
The Czech government is providing ŠKODA with
financial support via the ‘Antivirus’ aid
programme. Colleagues who are working on-site
during the production stop to maintain the
necessary processes or prepare for the restart
are not affected by this policy. The extension
of the production stop will not change the
conditions already communicated and agreed
with the KOVO trade union.
After the Easter holidays, your supervisors will
inform you in good time about the details of the
production restart on April 27.
Stay healthy and take care of yourself!

SOUs PARTNERS WITH PARENTS
SOUs teachers have prepared supporting materials for
parents to make educating their children easier. Aside from
online lessons and individual consultations, you may find
here, e.g., webinars for students and parents about general
or technical topics. Last but not least, there is an email
address and telephone line for parents of SOU students, as
well as parents working at ŠKODA, whose children are
attending other schools.
