ŠKODA WEEKLY 19/2020
ASSISTANTS EXTREMELY POPULAR
COMPACT MODELS SCALA AND KAMIQ ARE AMONG THE SAFEST VEHICLES
IN THEIR RESPECTIVE SEGMENTS - BOTH HAVE RECEIVED THE HIGHEST 5-STAR RATING
IN THE EURO NCAP CRASH TEST.
They come with the latest assistance systems, such
as lane departure warning and front-wheel assistant
with city emergency braking function, as standard.
Options include numerous other safety systems and
assistants, which have been in high demand since the
market launch of the two compact models in 2019.
You can now help the front-line medical
services in Mladá Boleslav, Kvasiny and
Vrchlabí financially. On our request, the
NROS (Civil Society Development
Foundation) founded a charity account for
a time-limited employee collection named
"Helping medics against COVID-19". It is
supported by ŠKODA AUTO and the
KOVO Trade Union.

Since 20 March, the town's crisis task
force has been using these cars to
deliver protective gear, medication and
disinfectants to its residents. By the
end of April, the town registered
8,380 km travelled with borrowed
ŠKODA cars. Mnichovo Hradiště's
Town Hall lit up in national colors, as
a symbolical thanks for the swift help.
ŠKODA Museum in Mladá Boleslav is open again since
11 May. Ferdinand Porsche's Birth House in LiberecVratislavice nad Nisou reopened on 15 May. At first, this
applies strictly for visitors with airway protection who comply
with other security measures. The services offered to
visitors will be gradually restored to full extent in later stages.
A new exhibition „From Heritage to Future: 125 years
of L&K / ŠKODA“ is set to be revealed on 27 May 2020.
