LAUNCHED IN PUNE
Production of the KUSHAQ has begun at the ŠKODA AUTO
Volkswagen India Private Limited plant in Chakan, Pune, with
deliveries to customers scheduled to start in July. ŠKODA
KUSHAQ is the first series-produced model manufactured
locally in India as part of the INDIA 2.0 project. The SUV is
based on the MQB-A0-IN version of the Modular Transverse
Toolkit developed specifically for the Indian market. The new
SUV combines a bold design with the spaciousness typical of
a ŠKODA, a high degree of comfort, extensive safety features,
efficient TSI engines and modern infotainment systems.

The 84th IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship
came to an end in the Riga, Latvia. In an exciting
final, Canada beat Finland 3:2 in overtime.
ŠKODA Design was once again (third time
in a row) called on to create the trophy
for the tournament’s most valuable player.
The sculpture, inspired by ice skating tracks and
made of Bohemian crystal glass, was presented
to Canadian national player Andrew Mangiapane.
The trophy is reminiscent of an ice crystal
and takes inspiration from the typical
ŠKODA crystalline features.

going on since 2002. As part of its

has long been involved in caring for
children and the elderly: it develops
a wide range of educational areas,
supports disadvantaged children
and contributes to social care

On 23/6/2021, ŠKODA AUTO will hold a workshop to gauge
employees' views on the company's environment and culture.
This is a repeat of the workshop held in February 2019, when the
Together4Integrity (T4I) programme was first introduced within our
company. Approximately 150 employees will participate in this year's
workshop, across all areas and hierarchical levels of the company.
During the workshop, participants will learn latest information about
the T4I program, which they will then be able to share with their
colleagues, and will be given the opportunity to express their views
on relevant topics through an anonymous vote. In a group discussion,
they will be able to share their personal experiences of applying
the integrity and compliance principles in their daily work practice
or, in a panel discussion, openly discuss issues of interest to them
with ŠKODA AUTO management representatives.
