We introduce a new section,
where we would like to regularly
inform you about current and
helpful topics from the area
of Integrity, Compliance, Risk
Management and data protection.
First of these topics is the ŠKODA
AUTO Code of Conduct, of which
the updated version was released
in November 2019. Code of
Conduct is binding for all VW
Group employees worldwide, in
every brand and at all levels of the
hierarchy. The latest valid version

Team Governance, Risk & Compliance
ŠKODA AUTO took an extraordinary journey through the
company history with twelve automotive milestones. The
motorcade, featuring some of our most important models,
around the headquarters in Mladá Boleslav was a part of the
company’s 125th-anniversary celebrations. The selected
vehicles range from the L&K Voiturette A, the brand’s first
car dating back to 1905, to the still camouflaged ENYAQ iV.
The new electric SUV will be officially presented in
September and heralds a new era. It combines the ideas,
innovations and influences from our history in one vehicle.

SECOND AT VALMEZ
Jan Kopecký and Václav Pech played the
leading roles at the Kowax ValMez Rally
2020. The bumpy roads of Moravian
Wallachia with high speed averages were
more suited for the powerful engine
of Václav Pech’s Ford Focus RS WRC.
Jan Kopecký and Jan Hloušek drove the
factory special ŠKODA FABIA Rally2 evo fast
and without mistakes. However, they still
had to settle for another second place.
The rich and interesting story of the Czech carmaker
was started by Václav Laurin and Václav Klement in
1895. It is full of great models, well-thought-out
innovations, historical twists and remarkable destinies.
A local bicycle repair shop has grown into the most
important Czech industrial company with cars all over
the world. The ŠKODA AUTO brand owes its success
to the ingenuity and enthusiasm of five generations of
Škodians. The 125th anniversary supplement follows
the development of selected occupations and tells
intriguing stories of former and current employees.

NUMBER OF THE WEEK
For 20 years the ŠKODA Parts Centre in Mladá Boleslav has been providing service centres in more than 100
countries worldwide with ŠKODA Genuine Parts and Accessories. As one of the VW Group’s three European parts
centres, the ŠKODA Parts Centre also supplies genuine parts to other Group brands. Since it went into operation,
the state-of-the-art facility has been consistently updated and expanded. Today, the storage area alone covers
105,000m2 – roughly the size of 13 football pitches, making it the largest warehouse for genuine parts in Czechia.
