ON THE WAY TO NUMBER 8
25 apprentices from the ŠKODA vocational school in Mladá Boleslav have started
work on the 8th ŠKODA student car. This project continues the ŠKODA
Academy’s annual tradition of giving vocational school students the opportunity
to design and build their own dream car since 2014. The students discuss possible
components and materials for the eighth ŠKODA student car with their instructors
and ŠKODA AUTO Board Members. In 2020, pupils transformed the ŠKODA
SCALA into the emotional ŠKODA SLAVIA Spider (pictured), whose name
recalled its origins.

The non-environmentally friendly polystyrene lunchboxes at ŠKODA
AUTO will no longer appear as of 1/10/2021. You can now put your
restaurant food into reusable REkrabička (REboxes) containers, which we
have successfully introduced and tested in recent months. We have taken
your comments into account, such as the raised divider wall of the bowls.
The REbox is made of fully recyclable polypropylene. It is mechanically
resistant and completely harmless to health. The EU directive banning
single-use plastic products has been in force since this July. No new ones
may be produced now. By limiting single-use plastics and using REboxes,
we are protecting the environment together, as this will significantly
reduce the amount of unnecessary waste. Instructions on how
to close REboxes correctly can
be found on ŠKODA Space.

Curious visitors streamed into the
area from early afternoon hours,
eagerly waiting for 7 p.m., when
the area was veiled by the inevitable
darkness. The next three hours were
devoted to video mapping and a light
show on the castle wall, supported
by music and period photographs
of the region's history and local
industry. The light installations in the
castle park were especially
appreciated by younger visitors.
The festival was brought to you by
the ŠKODA AUTO Foundation with
the support of ŠKO-ENERGO and
the town of Kosmonosy.

The TERIBEAR charity project has reached this year's goal: athletes have collected the 10,000,000 CZK
target amount in less than two weeks through their sports performances. The event took part virtually
again due to hygienic measures: each athlete recorded his performances in electronic result sheets.
100 employees as part of the ŠKODA TEAM generated almost CZK 100,000 with their performances.
The 2021 TERIBEAR doubled partner contributions and added cycling as a new discipline, to complement
walking & running. Proceeds from the event are donated to help vulnerable children and families.
