Situation remains very serious

he number of people infected and/or hospitalised with COVID-19 remains very high in the Czech Republic, and virus mutations are spreading rapidly. Therefore, all the health and safety measures introduced in cooperation with the KOVO Trade Union continue to be in force at ŠKODA AUTO. We would like to remind you that only strict adherence to the measures will prevent the coronavirus from spreading across the company.

This is about the health of each and every one of us and our loved ones, so do not forget the following rules in particular:

Wear properly fitted respiratory protection.

Observe the absolute ban on smoking in all the indoor and outdoor plant areas.

Check your health before going to work. If you have any symptoms, stay home and contact your doctor.

Get tested for free

COVID-19 can spread even when people are not showing any symptoms. Therefore, the carmaker continues to offer all MFA card holders the opportunity to get an antigen test free of charge. All you have to do is schedule an appointment via the COVID-19 Case Records application, which is available in the ŠKODA Space or @SMART Applications.

Stay informed

In addition to regular monitoring of the current coronavirus-related information on the ŠKODA Space homepage, it is a good idea to download a COVID info card onto your phone (by scanning the QR code at the bottom of this article). By having it, you will stay informed, for example, about all the measures in effect at ŠKODA AUTO plants. Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective. Supplements can be a part of the newspaper, in the same format as the newspaper, inserted, for example, in the form of a flyer, or they can be stand-alone unique magazines in a specific format, such as supplements dedicated to new models, the brand's historical anniversaries, or other important information from the company's environment.
