In November, the completion of the Excel trace form was completely replaced by the @SMART COVID-19 application.

COVID-19 registration system

On 3 November, ŠKODA AUTO changed its method of reporting and recording contact with the COVID-19 infection or the manifestation of related symptoms in people who work with the carmaker – that is, its employees, agency workers, external experts with access to the ŠKODA AUTO premises and students (both the SOUs and ŠKODA Auto University). The original Excel form was completely replaced by the new @SMART COVID-19 Application, which greatly simplifies and streamlines the entire tracing process. In addition, it can send SMSs and e-mails with instructions to the infected or potentially infected person, as well as immediate supervisors and other stakeholders. Thanks to this, every employee will always know how to proceed. At the same time, it is a valuable tool for ŠKODA AUTO since it provides a clear and up-to-date overview of the spread of the disease at the car manufacturer, strictly in line with the GDPR. ED

Skoda Supplements

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective. Supplements can be a part of the newspaper, in the same format as the newspaper, inserted, for example, in the form of a flyer, or they can be stand-alone unique magazines in a specific format, such as supplements dedicated to new models, the brand's historical anniversaries, or other important information from the company's environment.
