Logo development

The ŠKODA brand’s new logo is presented without plastic 3D graphics but reflects the carmaker’s history. Take a look at what the different logos have looked like in the past.

Logotype

The so-called logotype will play a much more prominent role in the brand’s marketing communication than the corporate logo. Why? Research has shown that a typographic logo is preferable in terms of recognition and identification. The biggest challenge in the logo’s new stylisation was the integration of Czech diacritics, which, as part of the brand’s Czech historical heritage, cannot be omitted.

Logo

The symbol of the winged arrow has also undergone a change, albeit not a major one. The logo has been simplified at first glance and will be redrawn without plastic 3D graphics. This simple two-dimensional version looks more impressive, especially on mobile devices, and allows for flexible integration into different formats. With this change, the carmaker is responding to the shift towards even more digital communication.

Colours

ŠKODA AUTO will now use two shades of green in its communication and corporate identity elements: darker emerald and bright electric green. In surveys, numerous respondents associate them with ecology, sustainability and electromobility.

Take a look at the possible uses of the new visual style.
