How to Be a Good Father Today?
How do you balance a demanding job with family life? Where do you find equilibrium between accountability for results and time spent with your children? These were the questions at the heart of a Father's Day gathering held on 18 June at the Laurin & Klement Kampus. The programme was opened by Pavel Kučera, who has long been dedicated to the topic of conscious fatherhood.
In his talk, he reminded attendees that the role of a father today brings not only joy and responsibility, but also new challenges. He opened up space for reflection on how expectations of fathers are changing and how that role shapes both family and working life. His address was followed by a panel discussion with Board Member for Sales and Marketing Martin Jahn and other employees, who shared their personal experiences of finding the balance between professional commitment and family. They spoke openly about how parenthood influences their decision-making, leadership and day-to-day lives. Group discussions formed a powerful part of the programme, with participants sharing their own stories, challenges and everyday inspiration. Father's Day was thus not merely a reminder of the occasion, but also an opportunity to reflect on a role that, for many men, represents the most important responsibility of their lives.
