A new virtual world of Škoda Auto is here – and most of you only know your own small piece of the puzzle. Škoda Virtual lets you walk through the entire carmaker, from the very first idea to a vehicle's second life. Simply log in and start exploring.

With the launch of the Epiq and Peaq models, there has never been a better time to look at the full story behind a Škoda vehicle in its wider context. Since its launch in May, the virtual world has already attracted more than 3,000 employees who decided to explore it.

From idea to second life

At the heart of the project is a story-driven game that takes users through the entire lifecycle of a Škoda vehicle. It leads you into development, production and sales, and also shows what happens to the car at the very end of its journey at a recycling centre.

Don't expect lengthy texts or training sessions. The whole experience is packed with mini-games and challenges that test your observation skills, logical thinking and ability to react quickly. Players have already completed more than 13,000 mini-games and finished thousands of tasks.

Mladá Boleslav from a new perspective

The virtual environment draws inspiration from Mladá Boleslav. You can walk through the Laurin & Klement Kampus, take a look at the production line, visit the development centre and test track, or drop into one of the showrooms. The entire Škoda world can be explored at your own pace. You create your own avatar and use a virtual tablet to track your progress, achievements and current location.

When experience meets young talent

The project was created in collaboration between the GSG – Board Management & Corporate Strategy department and students from Czech IT Academy. They contributed to the programming, graphic design and storytelling. The result demonstrates what can be achieved when the expertise of automotive industry professionals combines with the creativity of the next generation.

Getting into the virtual world is straightforward. Škoda Virtual runs directly in a web browser on a computer, mobile phone or tablet. Log in, enter the game and discover everything that goes into creating a new Škoda vehicle.
