Production of the Epiq at the Volkswagen Navarra Plant
Epiq is the second car from the brand's current European portfolio to be produced outside the Czech Republic, and the first Škoda model ever to be manufactured in Spain.

Milestones of the Volkswagen Navarra Plant
1965
Founded as the Authi (Automóviles de Turismo Hispano-Ingleses) plant for the production of British models.
1975
Production of SEAT cars begins.
1984
The Volkswagen era begins, during which several generations of the popular Polo were produced here.
20s
The production programme expands to include the modern SUVs T-Cross and Taigo.
2025
The plant produced its 10‑millionth Volkswagen car. The production line was adapted to manufacture both combustion-engine cars and electric vehicles.
2026
Production of the fully electric SUVs Škoda Epiq and Volkswagen ID. Cross begins.
