Two recent graduates of the Škoda Auto Vocational School received the Best Apprentice Award. The Group presents it to apprentice technical talents as one of its highest forms of recognition. It takes into account academic results, practical skills, an innovative approach and performance in the current role.
Vojtěch Kunc
Both young men have already begun their professional careers at Škoda Auto. Vojtěch Kunc works as an electronics specialist in the PKT/41 – Maintenance MQ M2, competence centre. In the new M8 hall for the production of GS5 battery systems, he contributes to the analysis and repair of production line control systems. "The transition from school to a real working environment was demanding, but thanks to thorough preparation I adapted quickly. What motivates me most is working on projects connected with electromobility," says V. Kunc.
Marek Trnečka
Marek Trnečka found his place as a quality specialist in gearbox production at the Vrchlabí plant. "Quality management is not just about checking the final product – it is above all about preventing errors at every step of the production process. I enjoy finding connections and continuously improving processes," says M. Trnečka. His work includes, for example, analysing deviations and proposing corrective measures. He works closely with both production and development teams. The stories of both graduates confirm the value of high-quality vocational education. The Škoda Auto Vocational School gave them not only solid technical foundations but also invaluable practical experience.
