We Are Continuing to Grow. Electric Cars Are Breaking Records
In the first half of 2026, Škoda Auto defended its position as the second best-selling brand in Europe and continues to increase the number of cars it delivers. In the first six months of this year it delivered 555,700 worldwide. Interest in the Škoda cars is also reflected in the carmaker’s financial results. Half-year sales revenue rose by 6.3% to 16 billion euros (over 386 billion crowns), and the return on sales held at a very good 8.5%. Rising sales of fully electric cars play a significant part in this success. Deliveries of the Enyaq and Elroq rose by 48.3% to 108,200 cars, with the Elroq the third best-selling electric car in Europe and the most sought-after of all in Germany and Denmark. The Enyaq is number one on the Czech market, and on the European market it sits right behind its more compact sibling. The range has now also been joined by the Epiq and Peaq. The Škoda brand did exceptionally well on the German market, where 120,400 cars delivered marked an all-time high. It also grew in a number of other European countries, as well as in India and North Africa.
