Kodiaq Cars Strengthen the Police Force in Bulgaria
Bulgarian police officers now patrol, carry out traffic checks and respond to call-outs in Kodiaq cars specially adapted for the security forces. At the beginning of June they took delivery of 154 cars from the importer Euratec, each with a 2.0 TSI engine producing 150 kW, an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. The equipment includes features such as beacons, a protective frame, a radio control panel and connectors for a camera and a portable printer.
The official handover at the Ministry of the Interior compound in Sofia took place on 8 June. It was attended by Minister Ivan Demerdžiev, police representatives and the company’s founder and CEO, Euratec Ivan Todorov. The Kodiaq cars then went on to the individual regional police departments.
