Remote control

Relief starts the moment you get in. If the car has been standing in the sun for several hours, many models let you lower all the side windows remotely before you even open the door, so the hot air can escape. Electric cars go a step further – through the MyŠkoda app you can switch on the air conditioning in advance and set the temperature you want. The crew then steps into an interior that has already been cooled down nicely.

Comfort for passengers

The comfort continues on the road. Three-zone air conditioning allows a different temperature for the driver, the front passenger and those in the rear seats, ventilated seats help draw heat away from the body, and some models also offer a cooled glovebox in front of the passenger. This keeps drinks or a snack at a pleasant temperature even on long summer journeys.

Sunroofs

The Karoq, Octavia Combi, Kodiaq and Superb Combi models are also available with a panoramic sunroof. Its front section can be slid back to air out a hot interior quickly. You will appreciate this especially when setting off for the first time or whenever you want to let fresh air in.

Camping mode

Owners of electric Škoda models have newly gained a camping mode in the MyŠkoda app, which turns the electric car into a comfortable base for an overnight stay. The function automatically maintains the set interior temperature, so there is no need to worry about whether the night will be too hot or too cold. Simply park in a suitable spot, activate the mode in the app and the car will look after a pleasant climate throughout your rest. The function will be available for all Škoda electric cars from the Epiq, Elroq, Enyaq and Peaq model lines with active Škoda Connect services, regardless of the car’s generation or software version.
