A Hundred Million Reasons Why Helping Makes Sense
The Employee giving project reached an important milestone this year. Together with the company, employees have now donated a total of 100 million CZK to non-profit organisations. Behind that figure lies concrete help for families, children, the sick, people with disabilities and nature conservation. It is also proof that even a small contribution can have an enormous impact.
The Employee giving have been running since 2014 with the support of the company management and KOVO Trade Union. Employees themselves nominate non-profit organisations, choose the finalists and decide who they want to support. The company doubles every donated crown, so the help has even greater force. The 4th round of collections is now under way, for which employees selected ten non-profit organisations: Dobrý anděl, Život dětem, Nábor hrdinů, Světluška, Nablízku Home hospice, the Mladá Boleslav municipal care service, Duha Home hospice, Nadace Ivana Dejmala pro ochranu přírody, Setkání Home hospice and Centrum Orion. In July the Employee Collections project opened a new chapter, with the Škoda Auto Endowment Fund now joining in.
The Employee giving show that helping can be simple, regular and at the same time extremely powerful.
Would you like to join in too?
Anyone can take part in the Employee giving. All it takes is a regular contribution from 25 CZK a month. In SMART@App Zaměstnanecké sbírky you simply choose the organisations you want to support, enter the amount of your contribution and submit the form. The contribution is then sent every month directly from your salary.
