Simplify, Accelerate, Digitise and Save
The SVP project delivers smart digital solutions, accelerates collaboration and strengthens corporate culture.

The year 2025 brought another series of projects designed to have a measurable impact on the performance of the entire Škoda Auto organisation. We have therefore selected a few examples to showcase the SVP team's work.

Order Automation

One of the most significant projects was the automation of internal orders in the EBP system. The user enters the parameters, and the system automatically creates the order in SAP without any intervention from the purchasing department. "The result is a significant acceleration of the process and a reduction in error rates. Thousands of requests are processed this way annually, and thanks to a time saving of roughly 15 minutes per case, we save approximately 500 hours of work per year," says Pavlína Hendrychová, SVP expert for Area B.

SVP Projects in Numbers

92

That's how many projects SVP experts and the relevant departments worked on last year.

3.6 million

On average, each project saved more than 3.6 million CZK (148,007 euros).

330

That's how many fewer printers there were last year thanks to SVP projects.

40%

As part of the paperless project, Škoda Auto saved ten million printed sheets.

Smarter use of test vehicles

In Area E, the team focused on more efficient use of test vehicles thanks to a tool for sharing and managing their usage. This led to a reduction in the number of cars by more than 200 and savings exceeding one million euros. "This project demonstrates how better resource management can bring significant financial and operational benefits," adds Karel Matějka, SVP expert for Area E.

AI tool for everyday work

In Area F, the internal AI-based tool Škoda Clip (more on p. 19) was developed, which can be launched via a keyboard shortcut in any application. It helps with translation, summarisation or explanation of texts. "Thanks to its ease of use and adaptability to specific needs, it saves time and supports efficient work with information. Plus, all employees can use it," explains Davide Moretto, SVP and expert in this field.

Total savings thanks to SVP amounted to more than 13,616,618 euros in 2025.

Better fleet management

The project focused on test vehicles older than one year. Thanks to data tools and more flexible allocation, it was possible to reduce their number and optimise costs. "The result is savings in the tens of millions of crowns — both in vehicle acquisition and in their operation and depreciation," say Vojtěch Christian Neubert and Tomáš Martykán, SVP experts in Area G.

Digitalisation of driver training

In Area P, the digitalisation of forklift driver training has brought simplification. All data is now in a single digital system that connects multiple applications and allows for monitoring the status of training. "The result is less paperwork, greater transparency and the elimination of delays previously caused by the paper‑based circulation of documents within the company," agree Petra Nováková and Michal Šimůnek, SVP experts in the indirect P area.

Unified Benefits System

In the HR area, the system for work and life anniversary rewards has been unified. Employees now earn points in the Škoda Benefits cafeteria. "This step not only brought cost savings but also simplified administration and introduced greater transparency into the entire process," says Simona Hrůzová, SVP expert for the S division.

Accessories Database

In the V division, a central system was created for planning the accessories portfolio across the product lifecycle. "Thanks to automation and a unified data structure, it brings greater efficiency and security when working with key information," says Eva Krejčí, SVP expert for the V division, about the project.

The Purpose of the SVP Project

The goal is for changes to be more than just numbers; employees should genuinely feel that their work is simpler and more efficient.

SVP stands for Škoda Verbesserungs Prozess, which means "improvement process" in English. Individual departments collaborate on projects alongside a team of SVP experts. You can find their contact information on Škoda Space.
